In Decent Proposal

How would it be when you are in love, with an engaged men or a married woman?

I knew a guy who fell in love after he got engaged and the women he fell in love was engaged too. The worst part was, they worked in the same office and they have been seeing each other for the past 8 months.

Flash back - 8 months back...

Quite interestingly they felt each other’s love on the second day of the meet but the fear factor inside them never allowed their love to over power. They avoided each other as much as they could but the love in them aggravated like a storm. At a point of time the boy decided to disclose his love to her. He went in search for her but she wasn’t traceable anywhere. With all emotions controlled he went to the girl’s friend and enquired about her. The Friend said “she is on leave today”. With no further reactions he waited there in silence, she continued “she is getting engaged today” He waited there no more. He bang opened the door and rushed to the terrace. Phone rang from home seeking an answer from him for the engagement proceedings. His acceptance came with anger. The next day he was engaged to the women he was never in love with. The week ended with a tragic drama.

Next week, they both met at the lobby and were waiting for the lift. Since he couldn’t resist the silence, he said "Congrats". She sadly replied “Thanks”. The lift opened and they entered, silence was the only thing that was loud enough. In a matter of seconds, they reached the floor and parted away with a formal smile.

As the boy thought it was the end, he turned back to give her a last glimpse. She was waiting there looking at him.

Minutes later they are at the cafe. She started the conversation,

Girl: “why didn’t you tell me that you liked me?”
Boy: “I never knew that you liked me, I was fat, not much of a macho material so I thought..........?”
Girl: “Now that you know I like you what are you gonna do about it?”
Boy: “I don’t know? Are you ready to leave your parents and come with me?”
Girl: “If I say yes what would you do?”

He smiled.

Though in that scenario both of them decided to run away, things never happened as decided. Though they fell in love with each other, at the dead moment they couldn’t fight things out of their family. They tried their best to work it out but their family tried their best to separate them.

In the end they sacrificed their love for their family. They got married to their engaged ones though they might have smiled and laughed with their family, the family pushed these innocent baits to hell for their selfish acts so called castes and family pride.

I hate to say this but this is the truth no matter how many times a guy or a girl tries to find true love, it never happens but when you are exhausted and tired of what you seek it comes in the way which you hate to accept it. My friend suffered the same he tried for true love and it never came in his way.

I personally pity the ones who got engaged to these fellow friends of mine…I sadly wish them good luck for them to find true love in the coming days of their marriage life.

As(s) experts say “Never seek love, it comes when it should and would bang you with the mighty blow” in my experience I’ve got ample number of blows but love? it’s still not traceable!!!
