The portrayal of friendship I see in the movies is so artificial and fake where people sacrifice everything for their friends, treat friends better than their family. Family members being treated bad and always being portrayed as the negative characters. I hate to say it but not every friend is good and not every family is bad.
It’s the luckiest of all luck you get; good friends and good family. With all luck; I have a good family and good friends.
Are there people who are really willing to sacrifice the best of them for their friends? I don’t know I haven’t met them till date neither heard a story of them, unless for some sentimental - Indian movies and yes I have heard some back stabbing stories about friends flirting with their best buddies sister and branded as a cheat. To top that at times trying to have an affair with their best buddies better half, yet again they are friends which yikes me.
Then I questioned, who are these friends?
They are the myth and magical experience you have, the one who accompanies with sadness and happiness, the one who barges into your family and becomes a part of the family, sometimes the worst nightmare if he/she falls for your sister/brother. Till death he/she would accompany you with no fees and no service charge.
I did close all the doors of friendship for a while. But it’s the magic of friendship you can’t keep them closed.
Best friend would be your best of your worst situations!!
